Baby Basket with Embellishments!

I recently attended a Baby Shower for our Friend Paula and wanted to do something a little different than just the usual present, so I decided to put a basket together of little items that come in handy like socks, vests, tshirts, and rompers. I’ve also added a drink bottle and face wash cloths – an assortment of things covering the first 6 months of baby’s life.

I used my Stampin’ UP! Nursery Letters wheel as the main detail and added a little sparkle to the letters with my friend’s Kindy Glitz (that I really should return soon before I use it all!)

Here is the finished product – all centred around a fun green and pink colour theme

and here is the main tag

And a simple but effective card using a template for a baby bottle I’ve had forever

and a little Hodge Podge Hardware from Stampin’ UP! as the focal point for my New Baby Sentiment:

New Baby Stamps from Occassions for All Level 2 Hostess Set

I love repeating the wheel design either on the outside

of the envelope or inside the card as a border:

Tip: keep the wheel border narrow to leave plenty of space for your hand written message 🙂

This is a really nice way to personalise a New Baby Gift and you can see how effective a Stampin’ Around Wheel can be when used in repeat this way.

Thanks for stopping by… See you soon!

  1. What a gorgeous baby present basket! I love the card and the idea of using the Nursery Letters inside a template of the baby bottle – such a fantastic unique idea! I am definitely going to have to try this!
