Christmas Gift Bags in Non Traditional Colours

My inspiration for these gift bags came from Michelle’s Stamping Spot (and Makeesha Byl’s Tutorial) – and my challenge to myself was to use Parisian Breeze DSP with it’s soft muted colours to create a Non-Traditional Christmas theme

I plan on finishing these gift bags off with some choccies and will give them to my work colleagues as Christmas Gifts…

Button, Ribbon and Reindeer not Stampin' UP!

Because the Parisian Breeze is thicker than the usual DSP, you don’t need to use the backing card, which makes these gift bags super-quick (as my five year old says in his quasi American accent thanks to Foxtel).  I love that you can see the reverse pattern on the paper as well.

I have coordinated different prints with some Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy Strips for the feature on the front, and created a nice highlight with my So Swirly Stampin’ Around Wheel in Basic Grey. I’ve then added a punched tag with a Quick Christmas sentiment and VOILA! I think it looks pretty special – and is just Christmassy enough (with the sparkly reindeer I just couldn’t resist…but you could use any Stampin’ UP! Christmas stamp you like)

And variations of the same theme:

Challenge Complete – you can create beautiful christmas looks without the traditional colours of Green and Red!
