Handmade Cards

All About Easter Baskets and Boxes

Hey Girls,

Just wanted to share an Easter Box (or two) with you…

One that I created for a workshop to show a cute basket that can be made with very little products:

My inspiration for the shape of this basket came for a post over at Makeesha’s Blog – Basically all you need is one stamp pad, a few colours of card, a hole punch for the handle detail, AND THATS IT!

And a second – a fancier 4 egg basket that we made at my recent Easter Classes:

Each side is decorated differently with a Happy Easter Sentiment on the Front Panel:

And from the top view:

After 6 people had scalloped the edge of their basket, my scallop border punch needed a serious appt with a coke can for some sharpening!

Hope you are all having some fun with some Easter projects! oh and one last one – almost forgot my Easter Egg Holder:

My inspiration for this one is from a little project in the Current Summer Mini Catalogue – so simple to make.

  1. Hey Jan,
Did the coke can do the trick on your scallop punch? Better than the alfoil?
Loved the card class last week – had a great time… Will have to come again.
Any idea when my new stamp set will be ready for pick up?
    Hugs, Kat
