I have been having so much fun borrowing my friend’s Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set – I thought I could do without this one but it is now firmly on my wish list! I had a vision of creating my own DSP with it and using that to make a wee purse – so my first step was to print my template onto Whisper White Cardstock, cut it out and begin stamping…
The colours I chose were Baja Breeze, Soft Suede and Pacific Point – Gosh these look great together! I stamped my random slightly overlaying pattern first, and then assembled the body of the purse.
For the flap of my purse, I cut a topnote using my Bigshot out of Whisper White and then stamped that too, placing the great sentiment at the bottom right so that it would be perfectly visible when the flap was fastened.
After stamping, I scored a folding crease 1.5cm either side of the middle points and then ran the topnote through my Bigshot with the Polkadot embossing folder.
I attached on one side of the topnote with sticky strip and then secured with velcro dots on the other, adding a Polkadot grosgrain ribbon handle. The finishing touch was my glitter glue which I added to the centre of some flowers and the stamin on others. And of course a matching card is a must!
And here is the card to match:
And now for another colour way – this purse and card is for a dear friend of mine whose birthday is coming up in a few days:

Cameo Coral, Pretty In Pink, Rich Razzleberry and Soft Suede have been used for this set and I think they are perfect for my friend who shall remain nameless to at least keep her guessing for a few days!
