Cards With Matching Gift Boxes

Morning stampers!

I have made my first mini pizza box!!!! And I really like this one – it is so cute! My plan is to make a set of square cards to fit inside as a birthday gift, but haven’t quite fulfilled that plan!

I found the printable template here but chose to flip mine and use the base as the top – I just prefer it this way…

Project Recipe

  • Stampsets – Priceless, Best Yet (hostess set)
  • Ink – Not Quite Navy (marker), Baja Breeze (pad)
  • Cardstock – Baja Breeze, Basic Grey, Whisper White
  • DSP – Urban Garden
  • Punches – Full Heart, Small Heart, Circle 1 3/8, Scallop Circle, Scallop Oval

I masked off the “friends” from my sentiment stamp with sticky tape, tapped onto my Baja pad, removed the tape and coloured in friends with my NQN marker.

The matching cards are still in the standard C6 size at the moment, but can easily be created in a square style to fill the box as a great gift…

My first attempt at paper pleating on the pricelss card was semi – successful ( I would have liked the pleats to be a little more even!)

I had so much fun playing with this colour palette…

AND NOW FOR SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT IN COLOUR RANGE…

This was my first attempt at playing with the new window sheets in the Autumn Winter Mini Catalogue – I first cut the butterfly image out of the front of my card and then popped a trimmed window sheet behind, securing with brads in each corder – looks cute doesn’t it? I added some Cottage Wall DSP to the inside of my card so that it would show through… I love the look of the Rich Razzleberry ink onto Kraft card 🙂

And another card for my set which we actually made at a recent Worskhop (Hi Kylie and Girls!) – I love so many elements of this card:

And here is the box for this set:

I hope I have inspired you to make a little set of cards and gift box for someone special in your life!

Will be back soon to post the last Deal of the Week for June!
