My big boy is turning 6 in a few weeks and it is the first real opportunity I have had to go all out Stampin’ UP! style for party invites… So here is my creation!
Laurenz’s favourite colour is orange, so I started with a Tangerine Tango base card, and added Tempting Turqoise DSP from the Pink Flamingo Pack:
The stamp set I have used is Lots of Bots from the Autumn Winter Stampin’ Up! Mini catalogue. I’ve stamped it in Basic Black Ink and coloured it with my Stampin Pastels. The colour scheme is Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango (Only Orange pastels) and Yoyo Yellow. I love this folding card because you don’t need an envelope but still have that surprise when you open the card… The “look who’s turning” stamp is from On Your Birthday – a really great set to have in you stash.
The Tempting Turquoise DSP is from Pink Flamingo and I love the spots! The 6 is cut from the same DSP using my Timeless Junior Alphabet Dies and Bigshot.
All his wee friends are sending their RSVP’s for Laurenz’s “Robot” party so I’d best get onto the party decorations!
