By the way do you like the changes to my blog? I’ve tizzied it up a bit and added slideshows in my Gallery! Pretty pleased with the results but if there is anything you would like to see me include just drop me a comment and I will do what I can!
You will notice to your left that there is a change coming over at SU… They are calling it a Colour Renovation and I am pretty excited about it, because although we are losing some favourite colours to retirement, the new colour families are just great! Really modern and fresh.
Check it out yourself – click on the New Colours icon to see the New Colour Collections, and most importantly… Check out the retiring colours in case your favourite is in there! They have already started selling out of some retiring colours like Close to Cocoa, so be sure to order your ink refills or cardstock etc while stocks last!
I have a cute birthday card to share with you today. I made this for our friend Rhyan who turned 6 this week using my Party Hearty stampset and a colour combo of Pacific Point with Kiwi Kiss.
I’ve stamped the party hats in Pacific Point and then on a separate piece of whisper white card in Kiwi Kiss which I have used to cut out three little party hats and mount them on top with dimensionals.
I’ve done a similar thing with the celebrate you stamp – first stamping and punching in Pacific Point (using the Scallop Circle Punch) and then stamping again in Kiwi Kiss and punching just the centre circle piece, popping it on with a dimensional.
My Happy Birthday stamp is from On Your Birthday. The DSPs I’ve used are from Hoppy Memories (Simply Scrapping Kit) and then the Patterns pack in Pacific Point. Have you ever noticed that the more times you mat, the better it looks?
