Just Add Ink is after my own heart this week. The challenge is to Just Add Embossing to a project – and as this is where my crafting started all those years ago embossing my wedding invitations – I just had to have a go at this challenge! So here is my entry:
I’ve started with a cute little box template from the SU Demo website, but added a topnote as the lid rather than the flap on the original template. Starting from a base of Baja Breeze Card stock, I’ve trimmed it up with Urban Garden DSP using the same sheet, just featuring both sides of the pattern.
I’ve added a second little topnote out of DSP to extend the lid, and then white embossed flowers from the Autumn Flair Hostess stamp set.
When I am white embossing I like to stamp first using my White Craft Stamp-pad and then embossing with White embossing powder. I’ve embossed onto Baja Breeze card and cut the flowers out using my SU paper snips (gosh I love those scissors!)
My sentiment is of course from the Best Yet Hostess stamp set and I’ve layered it onto a Scallop Circle punched from another sheet of Urban Garden DSP.
I have a lucky hostess in mind for this gift at an upcoming workshop… Now what to fill it with?
Head over to JAI to see the ~AMAZING~ projects the Design Team have for you – they certainly blew me away!
Have fun crafting girls!
Perfectly perfect.
