Over at Just Add Ink this week, the Design Team is challenging you to create your own Sympathy Card. I always find these kinds of cards the hardest to make – but here is my DT project for this week:
This card is almost entirely made using new products from the Idea Book and Catalogue 2010-2011.
Project Recipe
Basic Black Card
Very Vanilla Card
Peach Parfait Card (In Colour)
Elegant Line Embossing Folder (I’ve used my hole punch to punch out a few of the circles so that the Basic Black shows through)
Striped Grosgrain Vanilla and Black
Jewels – Large Rhinestone
Butterfly Embosslits (yes this die embosses AND cuts!)
Sentiment label is created using the Large 1 3/4 inch punch circle in Basic Black and Wide Oval punch in Very Vanilla. Isnt my sentiment beautiful? It is from the “Afterthoughts” level 1 hostess set. I have masked the bottom “afterthought” on the stamp and inked up the Just For You in Peach Parfait – one of my favourite new In Colours.

awesome card! The swirls on the new folder are perfect match to the butterflies. The ribbon and the little touch of bling are great finishing touches for an uplifting card.
