The Final Deal of The Week in May began yesterday – have you checked it out yet? This is one for the scrapbookers out there! Check it out here and email or text me if you’d like to place an order. There are two great wheels (I have my eye on the train track one!), as well as a great special on our rub-ons for your scrapbook layouts 🙂
Now on to a cute card I made last night for a work friend celebrating her birthday this week – I learn’t this very cool butterfly technique at SU convention in Melbourne – one of the many workshop WOWs shown on stage – would you like to learn how to make this? Why not book a workshop and I can demonstrate it for you and a few of your closest friends?
Here is the card featuring two of our in colours; Concord Crush and Blushing Bride with Whisper White to finish the colour combo:
Such a simple streamlined layout – Another thing I brought back from convention was an amazement at how beautiful simple cards can be! I’ve embossed my sentiment from the Word Play stampset with White embossing powder – it really pops!
A healthy dose of Shimmer Mist (Early Espresso Re-inker and Champagne Shimmer Paint) – and my favourite sentiment from the On Your Birthday stampset.
I’m dying to show you this too – This stamp was an exclusive buy at Momento Mall at Convention. I’ve added the Stampin Up logo from one of my little used stamps in the Art By Design stampset (just used my craft knife to remove the logo part leaving the rest in tact!) I plan on using this on the back of my cards and gifts and of course…envelopes:
The best thing about being an SU Demo is to share this fabulous craft with the people I meet!
Thanks for stopping by. Until Next Time…
