Thanks for stopping by to see the second card in my series of Enchanting Butterflies. Here is the second card I created – remember this is from the same small group of products taken to my Stamp Club at the end of January – see my previous post here
So here is Card 2:
I struggled with choosing the right DSP sheet from the Everyday Enchantment SAB paper pack, then came across the stripes which I hadn’t actually noticed before! I think it works really well with the overall card…
I used one of my emboss resist butterflies, this one inked with Lucky Limeade and Pool Party (see above link to the post for Card 1 if you don’t know what I am talking about!), and chose a Calypso Coral and Peach Parfait Brad Design to tie my embellishment back to the Calypso Coral CS Mat behind the DSP.
I love using my Ribbon Border Punch to create free floating embellishments like the one behind my sentiment. And the SAB ribbon is thin enough to weave through the design on the border. The biggest hint I can give you here is that the only place this border punched piece is attached is the central point behind the sentiment, with a generous glob of tombow glue which holds fast and of course you can’t see it!
I love this sentiment from the Hostess Set “Perfect Words” – I don’t know who this card is for yet, but as I have so many inspiring women in my life, I am sure I will find a home for it soon!
Be sure to pop by next week with the 3rd and final card of the series… Until then –
