So many of us feel we need an abundance of stamps to make a great card but it just isn’t true!
My card for today is one I designed for La La Designs in Leederville, I wanted to keep the layout fairly clean and let the DSP and central stamp speak for themselves. Lately I have been making quite a few cards focused around one central stamp like this one from Aint Love Grand.
When the retiring list was released recently over at Stampin’ Up! see here I just had to have the Distressed Dots Background Stamp. I’d had my eye on it for a while as I knew it would be perfect for those times that you needed a DSP in a certain colour that wasn’t in your stash…
The little paper bow is one of my favourite embellishments at the moment (thanks Michelle Martin for showing me how to make these using the Large Oval Punch).
I am so going to miss the Newsprint DSP which is retiring with the current catalogue in a few weeks. It just works with every layout I team it with.
Thanks for stopping by!
