Handmade Cards

Using the Negative Image of Your Framelits

Hi Girls,

Just a quick post today to show you a card I was inspired to try from Pintrest (yes I have been spending way too much time browsing the boards lately!).  This card uses the negative image from the largest Festive Flurry Framelit – you can’t see it here, but it also leaves an indentation around the image on the card stock – an added bonus which I love!.

I’ve then cut the small framelit out twice (once silver and once in the matching pale plum to the card front) – and layered them just off centre, trimming them to match the line of the card stock with my trimmer. I’ve embossed the card front and added rhinestones at each embossed flurry. An embossed sentiment and little silver bow finishes off my card for today.

What is Christmas without a purple and silver card design eh??? I hope I am inspiring you to get a start on your Christmas Cards? I think the correct count is 68 days until Christmas? LOL
