If you haven’t had a play with the New Stampin’ Up! Bow Die, you are missing out!!! It is so much fun and really easy to use. You can make two different sized bows or a double bow combining both sizes:
I sat one evening and made about 30 bows from scrap leftover DSP and had a ball! Here is a really simple card layout created with retired DSP and just a little Glimmer Paper.
My sentiment is from the Joy to the world Stamp Set:
While I was busy cutting up old DSP’s to combine into bows (you can lay several on the die at one time), I came up with this design, making my own pattern paper present and topping it off with of course – a bow!
I love the dimension of the Bow, and it’s perfect for those DSP’s where a little goes a long way – like this one of past years – I wasn’t so keen on this design but I love it as a highlight on this project…
The bow die works particularly well with stripes…
If you are trimming cards with the bow die, just be sure to allow a little extra room in your envelope so that the bow doesn’t get entirely squashed when you send it through the mail…
