Handmade Cards

A Friendship Card For Spring

I spent a lovely afternoon on Saturday crafting with some dear friends. This particular group has been meeting more or less every month for 10 years, and when we get together you can always count on chocolate, lots of laughter, friendship and craft!

I spent the first hour die cutting leaves and flowers from the In The Tropics Dies, and then created this bright, spring themed card…

I started with a card base of Basic Black and added a Lovely Lipstick mat. I inked the Brick and Mortar 3D embossing folder with Gorgeous Grape ink and then dry embossed a panel of Whisper White. I added a glue dot behind each flower and adhered it to my card then popped in the flower centre in contrasting colours

I’m just about ready to order my second pack of gold hoop embellishments – they are so fun to work with.
