3D Paper Craft, Christmas, Penguin Place Stamp Set

A Simple Gift Box with a Sweet Penguin Belly Band

I shared this sweet gift box on my socials recently and promised to post a video tutorial and all the measurements to create this very cute project.

You can follow along on YouTube below, and scroll down for a supply list and all the measurements you’ll need.

The Oreo snack pack I am filling my gift box with measures 17cm long, 5cm wide and 1cm tall. I am creating my box to fit the snack snugly inside – other than the height. My box will be a finished size of 1.5cm high (in case I want to add a little note or gift card inside)…

Project Supply List

Just Jade and Basic White Cardstock

Penguin Place Stamp Set, Penguin Builder Punch and Penguin Playmates DSP (SAB)

Tasteful Labels Dies and Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine

Wonderful Snowflakes and 2021-2023 In Colour Jewels

Fresh Freesia and Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Ink Pads and Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Write Marker

Stampin’ Seal+ Adhesive

Project Measurements

Box Base Just Jade Cut to 20cm x 8cm and score from all sides at 1.5cm

Box Top Just Jade Cut to 20.3cm x 8.3cm and score from all sides at 1.5cm

DSP Mat Penguin Playmates DSP Cut to 5cm x 17cm

DSP Belly Band Penguin Playmates DSP Cut to 5cm x 15cm

HINT: Cut a small snip out of each flap before you adhere it, it just makes the corners on your project neater.

TIP: You’ll have seen in my video that I have a little jar of Basic White pre-cut strips that are perfect for long sentiments like this one. These are actually off cuts from when I cut an A4 piece of Basic White card stock into 4 inside writing panels – they really are perfectly sized and come in very handy!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this project, thanks for stopping by and leave me a comment (and send me a pic) if you try this cute little gift box for yourself!
