Fun Folds, Handmade Cards, Online Card Class

Create This Fun Fold with Step By Step Instructions

This project was inspired by the amazing projects created by Stampin’ Up! and their concept artists to celebrate demonstrators who have achieved milestones with the company – the projects are generally very detailed and normally have fun fold out styles.

I shared a similar card on my social media a few weeks ago and many of you asked for a tutorial, so I’ve put together a step by step card class for you on my YouTube channel… ENJOY!

My base card stock is in Soft Succulent and the Designer Series (pattern) Paper is the Painted Christmas 12 x 12 from the Stampin’ Up! July – December (Holiday) Mini Catalogue.

Measurements you need to know:

Metric

*Starting with a portrait A4 sheet of card stock, score in from each side at 5.25cm.

*Turn your card stock 90 degrees and score in half at 14.85cm.

*After cutting the bottom right and left rectangles from the sheet, trim one of these to 10.5cm. You’ll now have your top panel measuring 5.25cm x 10.5cm to use as the folding top flap.

*Inside DSP mats are, 10 x 14.3cm and 2 panels at 4.75 x 14.3cm.

*Writing panel in Whisper White is 9.5cm x 13.8cm

Imperial

*Starting with a portrait sheet of 8 1/2in x 11in, score in from each side at 2 1/8in.

*Turn your card stock 90 degrees and score in half at 5 1/5in.

*After cutting the bottom right and left rectangles from the sheet, trim one of these to 4 1/4in. You’ll now have your top panel measuring 2 1/8in x 4 1/4in to use as the folding top flap.
