When new goodies arrive from Stampin’ Up! I often give my favourite new item a good ole’ bashing 🙂 My new background stamp Distressed Dots is definitely one of those items! With this card I have stamped it in White Craft Ink onto Regal Rose cardstock and heat set it with my heat tool (craft ink takes a while to dry but produces a really nice subtle look.
This central stamp is from Fun and Fast Notes. Although that set is already retired, Easy Events is a similar stamp set available now in the current catalogue.
I’ve coloured the cake image with my Stampin’ write markers and then added champagne shimmer paint on top with my blender pen. I like the toned down effect.
