Make a Card Masculine?

Over at Just Add Ink this week the challenge is to create a man card (with a beautiful colour combo included which I havent played along with so won’t link my entry! But I thought I would jump in and use my Greetings Eight Dad Stamp I have longed to Ink Up!

My base card is Always Artichoke, with DSP from Autumn Traditions and an embossed strip of More Mustard Cardstock using my Bigshot and Polkadot Embossing folder. I’ve inked my stamp with Soft Suede and matted with same.  My little punched slot is tied off with Jute String (I’ve run out of my favourite Hemp Twine for the moment!)

Now can you believe that my darling husband STILL thinks this is too flowery for a Man Card??? Honestly! I asked him what he would like for his Father’s Day Card and he said:

Do you have a bird of prey stamp? An Eagle maybe? and you could make it in Eagles colours?

And the kicker is… he is completely serious! So stay tuned for that Blog come September!!!!

Thanks for stopping by girls! I am notMake sure you head over to JAI and see the gorgeous cards the DT have come up with this week!
